That argument is invalid. Baker's season runs away with ROTY in 2006. Vince's season gets him third place in the 2018 ROTY race. In 2006 Baker get's broken in half because the defense could actually hit a QB then This

You can't compare those passing numbers because passing numbers are all inflated nowadays. Back then it was super rare to throw 4,000 yards now everyone does it. he still threw 51% comp with a 0.92 td/int ratio, regardless of the pass game The rules affect TDs and interceptions too. I guarantee receivers back then would love to play now. Just think of it as the same way that hand-checking has changed the NBA.

Did he win rookie of the year? That argument is invalid. Baker's season runs away with ROTY in 2006. Vince's season gets him third place in the 2018 ROTY race. Different era dickhead

Rookie seasons: Vince Young
13 games 51.5% completion percentage 2199 pass yards 12 touchdowns 13 interceptions Baker Mayfield13 games 63.8% completion percentage 3725 pass yards 27 touchdowns 14 interceptions ** best rookie season for a QB in NFL history You can't compare those passing numbers because passing numbers are all inflated nowadays. Back then it was super rare to throw 4,000 yards now everyone does it. Except for Dree Brees

Different era dickhead If Baker flames out in 2 years then I’ll say that they’re on the same level. But regardless, Baker carried an 0-16 team to 8 wins. He threw down the most touchdowns ever for a rookie with nearly 4000 yards. I don’t think Vince’s season touches that, regardless of era or awards. Vince also didn’t share a ROTY race with Saquon Barkley.
