not even saying its a bad trade. Warriors gave up the best player in exchange for two slightly worse players and years of cap flexibility, but this is a far more significant trade than jaylen brown and draymond for noah vonleh lmfao. And besides, we killed him for that deal. All im saying is the dude has no excuse to not be active this year, same as the 76ers who should run the league for years with embiid the #1 and beal. The cap flexibility for a young stud is invaluable at this point in the league. Either way not bitching about the trade but it can't turn into LeBron from iba scenario version 2.0 bc that's terrible for the league from two sides. One because the best player would be on a terrible team doing nothing and because a gm with minimal commitment traded away the second overall pick to not pay attention. In two seasons no one else will have a young stud making 4 million. man id love fox and Mitchell to be making 4 mill a year!!! Again i think the trade is fair BUT it's def way more even than is being lead on.Additionally zaire is the only guy the celtics even camped last season and hes low key nasty and cheap as well. Just my two cents as someone who knows how the game works well. Scott knows what he's doing with this trade and the cap implications of having a young stud making 4 million plus Zaire Smith has a potential and low key really nice numerical ratings. It's a very very even and fair trade especially when you consider that Scott has no one to really camp right now and a bunch of expensive contracts two young guys with great potential he can develop to add to that team is gross. Scott knew exactly what he was doing with this trade. Next year he'd have to start blowing it up or trading guys bc of salary so got ahead of it before everyone knew the cap had him by the balls and got rid of his most expensive player and locked in two young guys with potential that are cheap. He essentially said I'll trade my best player to be a title contender for the next five seasons even if it means I don't win again next season and what allows him to do that is the cheap labor from rookie talent. Zhiare Smith is notably worse than Jaylen Brown. You are playing both sides of the game. You want to say Scott’s getting a nice project player that’s cheap on one side, then you want to jump to the other side saying Jaylen Brown is shit and will never be shit unless 4K is dumped into him.

He wasn't shopping it but when somebody offers you one of the best players in the game for it and messages were sent to #1 about Anthony Davis as well you don't wait to see what happens if you want the guy.

Don't know all his dealings.

i just think its a pretty fair trade i dont think anyone made out like a bandit . its a guaranteed top 2 pick. yes AD is the best player in the game, give the rookie 2 seasons of tc and camping and the cap flexibility you now have to retain players and i think youll be fine.

the difference between brown and smith is that with 88 potential he WILL get better without camps. Once brown drops to c potential hes not getting better, he will ONLY get better through camps. once players reach c potential theyll improve in some and lose in other and theres usually not much net gain.

Don't know all his dealings. Well he didn’t reply to any offers all season from anyone (maybe because he wasn’t on since 7/29 or whatever it was) so I’m glad he got on to accept your offer or he would’ve missed out on AD.

serious questions have you guys even looked at smith's numbers vs brown. theyre really comparable in alot of areas except 3 pt shot. one guy has A potential and is 3 years younger.... his potential is 6 higher. I’m looking at the original draft file. Jaylen is better than Zhaire across the board. So as you were saying, he won’t be shit unless a GM pours money into them
